At REACT, we believe that real change comes from on-the-ground action. Our projects are carefully designed to address specific needs within our community and build a strong foundation for inclusion and empowerment. Each initiative, from providing vital therapy to children with special needs to launching a new project in rural communities, represents our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities.

We are proud to partner with dedicated organizations to deliver these projects, ensuring that our services reach those who need them most. Together, we are building a more inclusive and equitable society, one project at a time.

Career Guidance for PwDs

REACT has partnered with the Madurai District Disability Rehabilitation Center and the Arogya Welfare Trust to offer comprehensive support to people with disabilities directly from the Collector's Office premises.

This collaboration allows us to provide a full range of services, including counseling, career advice, skill training with government certifications, job placement in private companies, and guidance for creating self-employment opportunities.

Livelihood for PwDs

REACT collaborates with leading organizations to offer comprehensive training and placement support to people with disabilities. We've partnered with the Cheshire Disability Trust and the Composite Regional Center to provide tailored training and placement assistance.

We also work with specialized institutions, where we train deaf students in computer science and engineering. Through this partnership, we equip them with essential tech skills and help them secure employment in organized sectors.

Rural Livelihood for PwDs

REACT is excited to launch a new project focused on helping people with disabilities in rural communities find meaningful work. We've partnered with the Thiyagam Women's Trust in Madurai to address this important challenge. Our first camp on September 2, 2025, attracted 42 participants and was a great success.

The project's goal is to empower these individuals to start their own businesses, giving them a chance to earn a living and improve their financial well-being.

Education & Support for People with Visual Impairments

REACT partners with the Help The Blind Foundation (HTBF) to provide crucial education sponsorships for visually impaired students pursuing higher education in Madurai. We have established a strong network with 15 local colleges to identify and help these students access HTBF's valuable welfare schemes.

In addition to financial aid, we have collaborated with the Aravind Eye Care System to offer essential support, including medical assistance, assistive tools, mobility training, and specialized IT training.

Therapy Support for Children with Special Needs

We understand that children with special needs require constant support, and the cost of therapy can be a significant burden for parents. To address this, REACT has partnered with AVSS Hospitals to offer a range of essential therapies at no cost.

Through our monthly medical camps, a dedicated team of specialists, including a developmental pediatrician, provides vital services such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavioral therapy, helping children on their journey toward independence.

Empowering People with Upper Limb Impairments

People with upper limb impairments often face challenges using a traditional computer mouse. To address this, REACT has partnered with Dextroware Devices to provide access to their innovative wearable mouse, making it easier for individuals to work on computers.

By improving access to digital devices, we're not just helping with computer use—we're improving economic opportunities. In addition, REACT offers specialized employability skills training to these candidates, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed to succeed in the digital world.

IT Training Institute for People with Disabilities

REACT is excited to announce a new partnership with a leading IT company to establish a state-of-the-art IT training institute for people with disabilities.

This new center will be connected to IT leaders across the country, providing online access to their expertise and services.
