Resource Education And Charitable Trust (REACT) is a not-for-profit organisation, registered under sections 80G and 12A, committed to uplifting economically weaker sections of society, with a focus on persons with disabilities and economically weaker sections (PwDs & EWS), LGBTQs, and Women. Our mission is to empower these vulnerable communities through knowledge, skills, and equal opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
REACT, established in 2023, by Ramesh Duraikannan, brings together his unique blend of factory and education industry experience. His career has been marked by a consistent dedication to bettering the lives of people in India and Africa. Notably, he has facilitated job placements for almost 1,500 individuals with disabilities in the last five years, underscoring his unwavering commitment to empowering marginalized communities.

Founder
Ramesh Duraikannan, an engineering graduate with over 30 years of experience in the education sector, founded REACT on 21 June 2023. His achievements include securing jobs for nearly 2,000 PwDs over the past 8 years, demonstrating his commitment to empowering vulnerable communities.
His vision is straightforward: to build an ecosystem where every space and service is accessible to everyone. REACT is working block by block, ensuring our support reaches people with disabilities across the community, making inclusion a reality one step at a time.
REACT partners with special schools and higher educational institutions to enhance their support systems, and we collaborate closely with NGOs and other community institutions to improve the lives of people with disabilities across Madurai.

Core Team
Sathya, a B.Sc. Computer Science graduate with 13 years of experience in the teaching and training sector. He has been mentoring PwDs for 8 years.
His work involves identifying their skills, training them for workplace readiness, and connecting them with the right employers. He has successfully trained over 400 differently abled candidates and placed more than 700 candidates in various roles across industries.

Karpagavalli is an MCA graduate with 3 years of experience as a software developer and 5 years as an IT trainer in NGOs. She has focused on empowering PwDs especially those with speech and hearing impairments using sign language.
She has successfully trained more than 300 candidates in various programming languages, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in the tech industry.

Samuel, an MSW graduate, has been working with REACT NGO for the past year as a Consultant. He is deeply committed to the cause of inclusion and is passionate about serving PwDs candidates.
His goal is to dedicate his life to supporting and empowering them with care and purpose. So far, with his guidance, around 100 candidates have received training and job placements.

Jayavarsha has done her Master's in Psychology, with over four years of experience in counseling and education. She has focused on supporting people with disabilities and their families. She offers a range of services, including counseling, early intervention training, and therapies.
